In 2009, I walked into a small computer center in Ipe Akoko and learned Microsoft Word. I discovered Waptrick.com, Wapdam.com, and sefan.ru. I looked at those sites and asked myself: "Who built these?" That question never left me.

In 2012, I started coding on Wapka.mobi using a virus-infected Nokia 6300. I launched 9jaking.tk. I worked at Sammytech Computers for ₦6,000 a month. I rationed 10MB of data to last 24 hours. I was rejected by AdSense multiple times. I even tried farming AdSense and got caught.

I built, I crashed, and I rebuilt. That is who I am, and that is why I built Craftdas.

Why I Built Craftdas: The Founder's Story

Here is the truth: no platform can guarantee your success, and I learned that through years of trial and error.

In 2009, I stepped into a small computer center in Ipe Akoko and learned Microsoft Word. I downloaded mobile games from Waptrick, Wapdam, and sefan.ru, always wondering who built those pages.

In 2012, I began coding on Wapka.mobi using a keypad Nokia 6300 infected with a virus. I launched my first site, 9jaking.tk. I went on to study Architectural Technology at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, where I won "Best in Freehand Drawing" (ND1) and "Best in Revit Architecture" (ND2). That was where I mastered the ARC102 "Case Study" method — learning to dissect complex systems before building new ones.

I worked as a computer operator at Sammytech Computers for ₦6,000 a month. I learned barbing, DJing, and keyboard playing to survive. I knew what it felt like to ration 10MB of data for an entire day.

Eventually, I taught myself Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro via YouTube. My first commissioned artwork brought in ₦500. Later, I designed for Nigerian music stars like Dotman, Mayorkun, Teni, Oritsafemi, and Mr. P, eventually breaking into the European market where projects paid ₦25,000 to ₦50,000+.

Along the way, I faced heavy setbacks. My phone was stolen while traveling, wiping out my data. My stream farming account was banned right as I hit $2,500. AdSense rejected my blogs repeatedly.

Instead of quitting, I channeled my experience into writing authoritative books on SEO, Blogging, Digital Marketing, and Photoshop. I became a Prompt Engineer, building custom AI workflows for content creators.

From March 2025 to August 2026 — over 17 months of solo development — I built Craftdas. I taught myself Linux, PHP, Laravel, Python, and Vite from scratch. I deleted the codebase 3 times, crashed the server repeatedly, moved to Osogbo for power, and eventually returned to my village after installing solar energy.
